The In-Laws is a 2003 American comedy film directed by Andrew Fleming and starring Michael Douglas, Albert Brooks, Candice Bergen, and Ryan Reynolds. Michael Douglas plays the role of Steve Tobias, a spy who ends up getting his uptight future father-in-law, Jerry Peyser (played by Albert Brooks), involved in his dangerous work. Candice Bergen plays Douglas's character's ex-wife, while Ryan Reynolds plays the role of Mark Peyser, Jerry's son and Steve's future brother-in-law. Other supporting actors include Robin Tunney, Maria Ricossa, and Lindsay Sloane.
